Test What Resonates With Your Pakistani Audience

Lesson 1 of 24

Is lesson ke baad tum

Compare a defined audience task with consistent measurements, and change your conclusion when the underlying numbers change.

In this lesson

Turn a small result table into a careful next test. You will calculate one signal, notice a flawed comparison and avoid claiming that one account represents everyone in Pakistan.

Start With One Audience Question

Fictional audience: Karachi university-society volunteers preparing event posters on phones. Three sample questions ask where to put the event title, date and venue. This gives a reason to test a poster checklist; it does not establish nationwide demand.

The video body shows the same three checks: readable title, confirmed date, confirmed venue. Its action is “Save this checklist before making the next poster.”

Two supported openings are:

  • A: “Check title, date and venue before exporting your event poster.”
  • C: “Does your event poster show these three confirmed details?”

A useful hypothesis is: “This checklist may earn saves from volunteers preparing posters.” Saves are a signal worth investigating, not proof that someone used the advice.

Worked Example

These are constructed Instagram results, all observed after the same 24-hour window:

VariantAccounts reachedSavesExtra condition
A24012None logged
B31010Reposted by another account
C20014None logged

For this exercise, define save rate as saves divided by accounts reached, multiplied by 100.

A is 12/240×100=5%. B is about 3.23%. C is 7%. C has the strongest observed rate, but B's repost changed its exposure. Even A and C may have reached different viewers.

A defensible conclusion is: “C led this small sample; compare A and C again with the same body.” “Pakistani students always prefer questions” goes beyond the evidence.

Hands-On Exercise

Write a three-line review:

  1. The observed leader and its rate.
  2. One condition that prevents a strong causal claim.
  3. One next comparison, naming what stays the same.

Now a corrected report changes C's reached accounts from 200 to 400, with 14 saves unchanged. Predict the direction before calculating, then revise your conclusion.

Finally, a new row has 8 saves but no reach value. Decide whether its save rate is zero, 8% or unavailable.

Completion Rubric

C becomes 3.5%, so A now has the higher observed rate at 5%. Doubling the denominator with the same saves halves the rate. The missing-reach row is unavailable; do not divide by zero or invent reach.

For an opening comparison, keep the body, format, language, visual and review window comparable. Record reposts, outages and other changed conditions. Sequential posts are not a randomized experiment, so their differences guide a next test rather than prove a cause.

No account or publishing is required to complete this calculation and review. Optional live practice needs your account's available native metrics and their definitions; mark fields unavailable when access or data is missing.
