Building a Daily Trend-Scanning Routine With AI
Is lesson ke baad tum
Record independent evidence, make a bounded decision and keep a useful test idea separate from a claim about trend momentum.
In this lesson
A short scan should end in a decision you can explain. Use the supplied log to choose what to adapt, watch or reject; do not call a format popular just because you noticed it.
Read This Sample Log
Audience: Karachi clothing sellers making simple packing demonstrations. Available production: own table, garments, blank care cards and original voice. No customer labels or external audio are cleared.
These are fictional observations, not current trends:
| ID | Observation | Source relationship | Missing input |
|---|---|---|---|
| R1 | Question→packing demonstration on sample Monday | Creator A's original post | None for making our own version |
| R2 | Same abstract sequence on sample Tuesday | Creator B's independently made post | None for making our own version |
| R3 | Fast transition with a specific song | One original post plus two reposts of that exact post | Audio rights and local relevance |
| R4 | Claim that garment prices will double next week | Unsourced repost; no original announcement | Evidence for the price prediction |
For this exercise, Adapt means relevant, supported and feasible with cleared inputs. Watch means a promising candidate has a named unresolved check. Reject means the proposed piece depends on an unsupported claim or unavailable material that you cannot replace.
Worked Example
R1 and R2 justify testing the question→demonstration sequence in our own packing example. They do not establish that it is growing or causes sales. Keep the structure; create your own script and footage.
R3 has one original observation, not three independent examples. Mark Watch and name the next check: confirm suitable audio rights and inspect whether the format fits this audience. R4's price prediction is rejected unless credible evidence is found; AI cannot fill the missing announcement.
Use AI only on the log you actually have:
Group these rows by abstract format, with supporting IDs.
Count independent originals separately from reposts.
Apply the supplied Adapt/Watch/Reject definitions.
List missing checks. Do not add trends, growth claims or predicted results.Hands-On Exercise
Write a decision and one-sentence reason for R1–R4. For R3, give a specific next check and a chosen future recheck date; “research more” is too vague.
Now R2 is corrected: B only reposted A's video. Revise the evidence count and your description of the pattern. You may still test an original packing idea, but do not claim independent repetition.
Create a repeatable ten-minute route for future scans: one native discovery view, two selected niche accounts, then a log-and-decide step. Keep it small enough to leave time for making content. A five-day log is optional follow-on practice.
Completion Rubric
After correction, R1/R2 form one original evidence chain. Write “observed in one original post,” not “seen independently twice.” A content idea can be worth testing without being a proven trend.
Your Watch record must state the missing check and when you will revisit it. Your Reject record must explain why the price claim lacks support. No row may claim national popularity from this small packet.
For a real scan, save direct URLs, observation dates, platform and region where known. YouTube's desktop route is Studio→Analytics→Trends; some insights vary by country, language and device, and its interface is being updated. Use ordinary search or this packet if the view is unavailable. Google Trends reports relative search interest, not a poll or absolute post count.
