Draft and Review a Small Script Batch
Is lesson ke baad tum
Share the voice across a batch, keep each brief's facts separate and review production feasibility before calling a script ready.
In this lesson
Batching keeps related work together. Separate each script's facts even when the voice is shared. You will draft two short pieces and catch a detail that leaks from one brief into the other.
Use Two Separate Briefs
These fictional records are the full approved input. Both pieces are for beginner stationery buyers. Use calm English, one idea per script, visual directions in brackets and one useful next step. Do not invent results or urgency.
| ID | Point and evidence | Available visual | Boundaries |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | Undated planner; weekly spread with day fields and a blank week field; sample price PKR 1,250 | Own close-up of the blank field | Stock, delivery and productivity results unknown |
| B | Ruled notebook; 80 pages; sample price PKR 450 | Own close-up of ruling and page-count label | No undated weekly layout; stock and delivery unknown |
Aim for roughly 35–50 spoken words per draft, then rehearse. A word target does not certify timing.
Worked Example
A rough A draft:
[Show blank week field]
Starting a planner after January? This sample has an undated week field.
Write the week you need, then add your first task under its day.
Try the layout with one sample task before deciding whether it suits you.A rough B draft accidentally says: “This 80-page notebook has an undated weekly layout and costs PKR 1,250.” It borrowed A's layout and price.
Repair B using its own source: ruled pages, 80-page label and PKR 450 if price is relevant. Keep source ID B beside the corrected script. Similar products do not share facts automatically.
Hands-On Exercise
Use the brief table to write one A and one B script. If using AI, include this instruction:
Return A and B separately, each with Hook, Point, Visual and Next step.
Use only that ID's facts. Do not transfer a price, feature or unknown between IDs.
Flag unsupported lines for review. Keep the shared voice without copying openings.Save a rough version before editing. Mark a weak phrase with an edit note and continue to the next draft if you are getting stuck polishing. Correct factual or privacy problems as soon as you notice them; there is no rule requiring you to preserve an unsafe draft.
Review the two scripts for source accuracy, one clear point, readable speech and a feasible visual. Mark each Ready for filming, Revise or Hold, with a reason. These are your practice decisions, not an external quality certificate.
Now access to B's physical notebook is cancelled. You still have the approved text facts, but its planned close-up cannot be filmed. Decide what changes in its production status.
Completion Rubric
A may demonstrate the blank week field. B may demonstrate ruling and the page-count label, but must not inherit A's price or weekly layout. No draft can promise stock or delivery from these briefs.
When notebook access disappears, hold B's close-up plan or redesign it using an authorised text card clearly presented as information, not filmed proof. Review the new visual before marking it ready. A's available footage is unaffected.
A batch is useful even when one script is held. Draft count is not a production target. For a larger weekly batch, estimate drafting, review and filming time separately before committing to a publishing schedule.
