Cross-Posting Without Looking Copy-Pasted

Lesson 20 of 24

Is lesson ke baad tum

Work from your own clean master, repair destination-specific problems and recheck every copy when a fixed fact changes.

In this lesson

A platform copy needs its own preview. You will repair two draft versions while keeping their event facts unchanged.

Use This Message Lock

Fictional approved event: Notebook Layout Workshop, 18 October 2026 at 4 pm Pakistan time, Room B. Three layouts will be demonstrated, then participants make one. Bring a notebook; ask the organiser to confirm attendance. No fee, seat count or outcome guarantee is supplied.

Available files: your own clean video master, a caption source and a text-only event card. No external music is cleared. The master contains no platform watermark.

Keep event facts, the attendance instruction and asset permissions fixed. You may change the opening, crop, text positions, caption length and presentation style.

Worked Example

A proposed Reel uses a downloaded TikTok copy, puts the time beneath interface buttons and says “Only two seats left.” Three separate repairs are needed:

  1. Return to the clean original export instead of cropping around a watermark.
  2. Move essential details into the visible area and preview the destination copy.
  3. Remove the invented seat count and restore “Ask the organiser to confirm attendance.”

A suitable short caption is: “Notebook Layout Workshop: 18 October, 4 pm Pakistan time, Room B. See three layouts and make one. Bring a notebook; ask the organiser to confirm attendance.”

TikTok's help recommends keeping an offline copy before posting. Save your own source file as well; a platform download is not a substitute for an editable master or a licence for every sound in it.

Hands-On Exercise

Write a self-contained LinkedIn version from the message lock. Start with what participants will practise, then include the date, time, venue and attendance instruction. Keep it short enough to review alongside the Reel caption.

Complete this two-row adaptation check:

VersionSupplied defectYour repair
ReelButtons cover 4 pm; caption says two seats leftFill in
LinkedInSays participants will master every notebook systemFill in

Then the event moves to 5 pm. Update both visible text and captions. If you have an editor and destination preview, inspect the copies with sound and muted. Otherwise mark preview untested; this text exercise does not prove a real export is ready.

Completion Rubric

The Reel needs visible time and an honest attendance request. The LinkedIn outcome should say participants see three layouts and make one; a short workshop does not establish mastery of every system.

After the time change, 5 pm must appear consistently in both copies and their captions. Recheck the preview because a changed line can wrap differently. Do not retain 4 pm in a cover or burned-in subtitle.

Identical wording can be suitable for a simple notice. Change packaging when it helps the destination reader; do not invent new claims merely to make every variant different. Compare later results within each platform using the same metric definition and observation window.
